I would definately get a fecal done ASAP! If you do the parazap and the appetite goes up and the hiding stops then after treatment these symptoms reappear a stronger treatment may be needed such as Albon. The parazap treatment would be a cost effective way but if it's not enough and the symptoms come back or don't go away..... vet would be the way to go.

www.beautifuldragons is offering albon now on the website! If you could find a vet that would just do a fecal for you without the visit cost you could order it there and save a ton of money. Don't forget though that it is recomended to use acidophiliz with albon to replace the good gut flora.....

I'll make a phone call to the one herp vet we have in Rochester tomorrow. This stinks, I hope she's going to be ok
Her basking area seems too warm for her even though my temps are fine, she won't bask in the warmest spot. She'll go through active spurts and run around and scratch at the glass and then she either basks with her eyes half shut or hides in the cave. She's eaten half a plate of salad today and a couple crix. Yesterday she had about 15 crix and a whole plate of salad. She had a bowel movement this morning, and it was normal.
If I have her fecals done do I need to have my other beardie's tested too? They're in different tanks and his appetite/growth is more than adequate.
Thanks, everyone
I would say if it isn't broke don't fix it.... As long as they're eating and acting normal I wouldn't worry. Maybe all she needs is a round of parazap. If your feeding crix though it's possible they could all have parasites. It's really up to you as you know your animals.
