my baby dragons seems to love basking but every once and a while he will get down form the site and scratch at the glass and also run back and forth as if he were trying to get out should i do something or is he just being silly?

yup, he's being silly...dragons seem to be silly this way too,,,scratching at the glass is a favorite past time.

well i will tell you this:
when i first got mine he did this all day...and i think it was bc he was trying to get out...so i taped paper around 3 of the sides so that he could only see out one, he soon figured out that he couldnt get out the front and relaxed alot...i think he is just nervous, try the paper thing, (if you have a 4 sided glass cage..) and it will help
