tonight is a good night for me!

umop_apisdn Nov 14, 2004 09:17 PM

well, first of all, one of the crested gecko eggs ive been incubating for a friend finally hatched at 9:30. just a second ago, i looked at my satanics and found one of the pairs mating. best of all, its the female that is really fat right now, and i tihnk shes going to lay soon. when cleaning out the old enclosure a few weeks ago, i found what seemed to be 2 infertile eggs, so im pretty sure she's begun her reproductive cycle. im really excited!
i also think one of my male leaf tails (otis) recently won a photo contest for me where im gonna win a crested gecko! i know this is the wrong forum for talking about cresteds, but i thought my message was at least somewhat geared towards leaf tails!

talk about your crested, we all talk each day here, and we can mention our other lizards to one another freely.

So cool your little guy hatched tonight, and happy to hear of all your eggs as well as the breeding.

Seems things are looking UP for you, hahahahah !

NEED pics

my two female cresteds are just getting old enough to start breeding. i got 2 eggs from my super orange female last night, and 4 nights ago i got 2 from my buckskin dalmation. i just ordered 3 outrageous geckos from www.acreptiles.com , i ordered sm-1, sm-2, and sm-3
can't wait for all my other juvies to become old enough to tell the sex.

oh yeah, i also believe one of my female sikorae is gravid, i haven't gotten any fertile uroplatus eggs so that should be interesting.

well good luck with yours! i originally had 1 harlequin (stimpy) that i got at maybe a month old at the reptile show. some time later, i became interested in breeding them, and ran across another killer juvie harlequin at the local pet store. basically ive got 1.2 now that are JUST under the minimum size for breeding. i've had stimpy paired up with a female harlequin since the beginning of september. no eggs yet, but i hope for some soon.

anyways, to eve's request:
(sorry i left the phants to do their thing this time w/out interrupting, and i was more excited about the hatchlings!)
