CRB or GRB???

Hi everyone. I have been doing my research for while now,and have set up beforehand, for a Rainbow Boa. When I got to the show today,i realized my dumbself had lost $260. Scrounging what pocket change I had on me after paying the ticket fare to get it, I was unnable to afford the BRB I wanted. But,being there before the show was almost over, I got a guy to sell me a "Guyana" for $50. I have seen them before, and they are still beautiful snakes, even if they are not that beautiful red. So i got my new baby boy home, and he is doing well. After looking up various pictures, I have come to the conclusion that I highly doubt i have a "guyana". I believe I may have a Columbian instead. He is just a baby-about 13 inches long, and nice and plump. Any tell tale signs for either species? Can anyone post pics of either to help me out here? Thanks alot!

Sheryl,
....The babies of all three subspecies look somewhat alike. Baby Brazilian Rainbows and Colombian Rainbows are more similar to each other than to Guyana Rainbows though. The light markings on the sides of Guyana Rainbows are much more likely to be in the form of complete or near complete stripes up near the neck. On Brazilian and Colombian Rainbows the light markings are more seperated into seperate crescents rather than lines. Can you post a PIC of your snake?

>>Sheryl,
>>....This is an adult Guyanan Rainbow. The babies have patterns like this snake with the light stripes on the sides of the neck.
