The Louisiana Reptile & Amphibian Task Force will be meeting with the Enforcement Division of the LA Department of Wildlife & Fisheries at the DWF building in Baton Rouge on December 1 at 10:30AM. Some of the language that the ED submitted needs to be refined or changed. The proposed regulations can be found on the Louisiana Gulf Coast Herpetological Society's website at www.lgchs.org. Restricted snakes are constrictors over 12 feet and venomous snakes. They will need a permit which is no charge.
