Cabinet changes....

Now six cabinet members have resigned...Including the Secretaries of Defense, Eduction and Energy the Secretary of State. Speculation?

Yep, closing in on half of his secretaries resigning. I dont know about other administrations, but this seems a little odd to me. Sounds like people dont agree with how he is running things. HHhhmmmmmmm, imagine that. And the EPA director who resigned a while back. I think this says a lot about the Bush term. I cant remember where I read this but, someone said we traded in George III a few hundred years ago and now we're in the same boat with George II. Kinda funny.

the Bush administration has been extremely stable--much more stable than most.

Most administrations have a number of cabinet member turnovers during the administration, not between administrations, like in this case. Changing cabinet members between terms is very normal. The most abnormal thing about this is how stable his cabinet has been during his first term. (I understand the average turnover rate is 3 years within the term. Each cabinet position gets a new person every 3 years, and that is far more frequently than what happened under Bush.)

As for speculation, I can only speculate that due to the unusually low turnover rate, Bush and the cabinet members he selected are very loyal people.
