HELP! is anyone here located in Georgia?

birdgurl7 Nov 15, 2004 04:04 PM

A friend of mine called me on Saturday saying he had found a big lizard in a parking lot in Decatur, Ga. He thought it was a skink, but when he brought it to the house, I knew it had to be in the monitor family, and it is indeed a Sav. He/she looks to be in fairly good shape, albeit a little thin, and about 3 ft. long. I currently have 8 birds, 3 uromastyx and a boa constrictor, and honestly, if there were any way to keep this guy, I'd do it. I don't know if he escaped or if someone dumped him. he's cozy and safe in the downstairs bathroom currently, but it can't be that way forever.

If there is anyone out there who can help me find a *GOOD* home for this guy, Please let me know. I'm willing to drive a ways, and I can also email you a picture.
Thanks a million !!!
Amy

Hi I'm in Gadsden, Alabama, which is about an north of birmingham, and about an 1 and a half or hour out of Rome, Georgia. I know of someone here who might can take him/her. She is awesome with reptiles. If you could send me a picture of him/her that would help.
