Those with multi-level enclosures

VTEC Nov 15, 2004 05:27 PM

Please post pics and information on where you bought or how you put together your setup. I want a multi-level really badly but am unsure on where to start. I was thinking maybe using plaster or something but there is probably a much easier way.

very simple

measured the length and width of cage. divided the width in half. cut wood to proper size, cut the legs to about 6.5 inches, drilled holes and then nailed. Covered with tile.

this is one of my first tanks I made. It's a lot more decorated now but this is the easiest pic to see. The second level is made out of styrofaom that I covered in plaster (the kind that comes in strips not powder) and then covered in tile grout. It is supported by rocks from my backyard that I glued together and onto the second level. The whole thing is removable for easy cleaning and access.
