will males be able to mate with females if they are not receptive and if females are for how long are they recepives thanks jimmy

No, the females will not allow copulation if they are not receptive. If you look at the menu above, click on Care Sheets/FAQs/Features. There is a site listed for Veiled Chameleon Breeding that you might find useful.
