Today I went to the mall with my madre to buy some clothes. After i was done, petco was on our way home so i wanted to stop in and look. I have been looking into breeding cresteds for over a year now and I was sure i would buy my first gecko(s) from a breeder (ex:AC, Dragons den, Giant Geckos, or sundial). But my madre......my mom....haha........won't let me get anything without a fight, and the fight is a much easier one when she sees something in person. I won the fight (a very civil fight if i may add). So i did what i promised myself i would not do.....buy a crested from petco. He was $55 and he is BEAUTIFULL. He/she is a harliquin. It's a little skinny, so as soon as i got him home he ate a lot of baby food right from the little carrying box. I figured the first few days id give him just all the baby food and crickets he/she wants to fatten up. The cage was VERY dry and they all were having bad sheds. So now that i have this gecko, i am alloud to get several more and start breeding them. So my next purchase will be most likely from one of those breeders mentioned above (AC.......hurry up with putting those geckos on ur site lol......ur geckos are awesome) I like that neon orange one that is on the AC site.......and its not out of my price range......so hmmmmmmm. I think i will be looking for sexable sub-adults and adults. Well thanks for readin everyone..........have any advice? THANKS!

John,

Congrats on the new addition. Just keep it well hydrated and fed and it will be thriving in no time.

Thanks for the kind words. That orange one you mentioned is a neat little gecko...very bright color. I have a few others too, but sometimes I don't have time to take pics and post them on my site, so I just wait until I have a handful of geckos ready to go and then I can do photos and updates all at once. Shoot me an email and we'll see if we can work something out.

Take care,

Anthony
