However, in relation to your statement about the anery stripes you produce being sold as possibly het for hypo, let me just make sure that you (or someone else reading this post) can be clear about how that works too.
As Jimmy noted, your snakes should produce:
50% anery stripes het for hypo
25% anery stripes
and
25% ghost stripes
Now, the ghosts will be rather easily defined from their anery clutchmates, so that won't be an issue. However the anery stripes will be indistinguishable as to which ones (if any) are het for hypo. So you sell them as POSSIBLE hets, as you already concluded.
BUT...since, out of the anery stripes you will get, each INDIVIDUAL hatchling will have a 66% chance of being het for hypo (because of the 50% to 25%, or 2 to 1 expected ratio outlined above), it is legitimate to advertise these babies as 66% possible hets for hypo, as opposed to the 50% hets you would have if only one of the parents was het for hypo.
You probably already knew all of that, and if so, let me apologize for being redundant for you!
But someone else may never have understood the reasons behind the percentages before, and i thought this thread would be a good place to slip the info into place!
Good luck with them!!!
