Feeding question

i hae a young ball that just shed for the first time sence i got her 2 weeks ago. well last night she shed all in one piece and that is very good and well i tryed to feed her today well she grabed the mouse before it hit the floor of the cage i'm thinking that is very good but when i can in to the room to check on her about 20 min later the mouse waas in her mouth the wrong way butt first and well i left her alone and in about 20 min later i came in and the mouse was laying on the floor and she was laying next so i left it for about 1 hours and she still has not eat what else could i do????

try wiggling it in front of her. she may take. if not, just throw the mouse away and try again in a few days.

ive had that happen before. usually the mouse was small enough that it did not matter but it is a lot easier going head first. since your snake did not ' get it down ' it might have let go and before trying at another angle the mouse might have lost all heat and the new snake might not realize it is food. try dangling with tongs. if nothing then just discard and start with new mouse. i always use live so i am not sure on the warmed up frozen stuff.

The ''heat it up'' thing works and very well. Put f/t back in hot water. Keep it pretty hot and you will proably get a feeding reaction. If this does not work try again in a few days. The snake may be to stressed to try again to soon. None the less a warm meal is always the way to go.
