To start, I've had several lizard types from Geckos to Monitors, Iguanas, Tegus, Chameleons, Beardies and tortoises, turtles and amphibians galore, yet I've never made that leap to a snake. I even have 6 dogs, Chinchillas, sugar gliders, 3 BIG parrots, chicken and rabbits. I'm fascinated by snakes, just never the right time. I now have a friend who must get rid of his 4 year old female, Columbian Red tailed Boa. She's moderately friendly (I've handled her a good bit so far) and she looks very healthy and responsive (clear eyes, no breathing sounds, no build up around the nose, etc) so I think I'm going to help him out by taking her. I have the cage 90% completed, but just wondered if ya'll had some last minute advise to a new father to be? I read all the forums, and have done tons of research prior (just want to make sure she has a great new home). But if you have any last minute advise, please offer it here. Thanks for anything!
