I have a few Ball Pythons and this weekend i bought a pair of hatchling Cal Kings and wanted to know how often do i need to hold them so they stop craping on me? Also do they settle down a bit after they get used to you? Mine squirm all over the place so do they relax after alot of holding and bonding? Thanks Thomas

You can find the answer to this in nearly any of the dozens of care sheets available online for Cal kings. Search this forum and you can also find the answer. Enjoy them! - Matt

Yes I'd say hold them as often as possible, they should calm down after a while.. Although I have had some that just never settle down and musk and crap on me til almost adulthood no matter how much I would handle them. But I'd say these lil cali's will chill out after alot of handleing. Kings are awesome, nice to know you are new to them and intrested. Pe@ce.. Mike

Keep handling. They will chill. Kings are kind of squirmy as hatchlings, but they get better as adults. Kingsnakes are great snakes once they grow up a little, and they are pretty easy to care for.
