some more hideboxes questions......

bloodboy128 Nov 15, 2004 08:55 PM

Ok well does a burm need ana actualhide box its whole life.? I heard that people cover 1/3 of a vision cage with dark colored paper to make a hide? is that really the same to the burm than having a secure box? Wouldn't it be better to give it a nice sized box?

Thanks,
Jake

After like the 8 ft mark they are big enough to feel secure on their own, no need for a hide.

As long as the burm FEELS secure in a dark area where its body can be touching three sides (thigmotactile)then covering a portion of the front with paper will work great. Rob
