Male Gecko Armpit bulge?? Please help

bizback67 Nov 15, 2004 09:21 PM

I have a male leopard gecko that is about a year old and 2 days ago I noticed that his two front armpits have little sacs behind them? He hasnt been eating but I just moved him to a new cage a week or so ago and last time i switched his cage he didnt eat for three or four weeks so i didnt think anything of it. Has this happened to anyone? I know there was a post a while back but I was seeing if anyone knew anything else?

Thanks : )

What?!?!?!? If its gonna die, what is it he's dying from?

hes not dying. Those are fat bulges, which is a sign of a healthy gecko.

it's just another place that the store fat, just like their tails. They store this fat in their arm pits when they run out of room in the tails.

calm down he's fine

. . . it's a fat deposit - means it's healthy.

It's a good thing.
