Superworm Rearing

A few folks have asked lately about raising their own superworms. Here is a forum thread that has great directions and photos!

I haven't clicked on this link yet, but the link that I got previously about putting 1 worm in a film canister, and so on didn't work, all i got was 30 black dead worms... Just my sucess, or lack of from my attempt at breeding them..

This way seems much better and successful. It is a thread on an arachno (spider/tarantula) forum. They use the plastic craft boxes that are divided into compartments. Bait boxes would work, too. They are very cheap and easy to come by (K-mart, etc.)

I am going to try a few this way. I don't want to get into breeding them (only one cham and a coupls of T's) but Luna liked mealworm larva. Just want to giver her variety.
