Het Calicos Finally Breeding

marksherps Nov 16, 2004 11:44 AM

Our het calico retics from Xtreme Reptiles imported calico have finally started to breed. She came in to the country gravid and we got a few of her babies. Its been a long 3 years raising these up. The females are 13-14 feet, the male around 8 feet and slim. I've been pairing them up since early August while feeding the females a lot. I decided to give them all a rest for a few weeks. I didn't offer the girls any food during that time and only fed the males once. After giving them that break I've seen the het calicos breed twice, and an aberrant male breed with a second female once.

Good luck with the breedings. Hopefully you get some nice babies out of them.
