Pictured are albino Limburg, Whitewater, and Harquahala Mountain (AZ Chocolate) rosys. Which do like best?

Which locality is it? I know very little about rosy boas, but I have been getting quite interested in them lately.

I have always wanted to see a pic of some of these albinos next to a colorful bay of La and/or San Felipe snake.

I remember when I first say albinos at Orlando (early 90s?) thinking that they were about the same color as some of the brighter San Felipes, but I have never seen a comparison shot. Do you have any you could take that comparison with?

For my vote, I much prefer the Harq. albino. Is that a pure strain (or was it crossed from one of the other two albino lineages)?

...and I want some
Who was the originator of the amel Harquahalas? ..Domke?

I think this is the first time these were posted on this forum.

Would love to see more!! Perhaps any adults??

Thanks

The original lineage is from Brendan McGraw’s stock. John Domke is who produced the first albino’s from Brendan’s stock, unaware that he had het’s until the albino’s were born. I’m sure there are other possible het’s out there in other folks collections. My two normal males that I’ve had forever could be possible het’s. Who knows? John got the luck of the draw.

Jerry,

I want to apologize for not following through with that deal I made with you to buy some of your Rosies a little over a year ago. I feel sick every time I think of it. I personally hate when others flake out on me, and that is exactly what I did to you. I normally do not do that sort of thing, but I did it that time, and I am sorry for it. It was a crappy thing to do. I will say that I did intend on getting them, but I ended up having to come up with a lot more money for our house than originally anticipated. That being said, I really do not want to focus on excuses, because when it comes down to it, there are no excuses for leaving you hanging. I just wanted to apologize to you. It is long over due. I realize you are probably a bit angry with me, and I don't blame you for that. I still admire you and your dedication to Rosy Boas, and I have and will still continue to recommend you to anyone that happens to be looking for quality locality Rosy Boas. I wish you all the best with your breeding endeavors.

Interestingly enough my wife and I are dealing with the same issue. We are in the process of putting a new home on our property and needed to appraise for $275,000. Unfortunately we came in at $270,000. That’s why I selling 2004 neonates so cheap this year. I’ve already sold out of my het Limburg’s as well as many other localities. I had to make up the $5,000.00 difference. I’ve only got $1,000.00 more to go, that’s why I have a package deal on the classifieds right now. I’m sure everything will be fine though. So, I completely understand and hold absolutely no hard feelings what so ever. I hope everything worked out for you, and don’t worry; I’ll always have baby rosys here for ya. Thanx for your concern, but don’t give it another thought. I know I didn’t.

Take it easy,

Jerry Hartley

Very kind of you to be so understanding. I do not honestly know if I would. You have no Idea how upset I have been over this... I just do not like to do that sort of thing. We did get the house, and it has been a great investment. We stand to make a little money when we sell. I will try to give you a call here in the near future.

Again Thanks,

James
