For all the Eastern Milksnake fans

I took my 11 year old son Jimmy, on his first outing for Timber Rattlesnakes. We did not get any pictures of Rattlesnakes this time out, but dumb luck would have me flip a rock in Pike Co. Pa. to find this partially striped male coiled up with a gravid female. I may need to consider the possibilities with this pair.
Just when you promise your spouse " I will not add any more snakes to my collection" this happens. LOL

I found a partially spotted Eastern last Friday in MI. Don't have the pics back yet. Also, most of the blotches and spots went all the way down to the ventral scales with only a partial lateral row of spots. The vaiations are interesting

So did I read the post correctly, you now have this eastern in your collection? I hope so. I'd like to see eastern milks become more popular in the snake trade. I personally love them. If you did keep her please keep us posted as to the results of her offspring. I'd love to see more variations of these great animals. Take care, Scott.

Iv'e caught a few here in Lycoming county that had a slight difference in color, but not much different in pattern.I really like these guys, and had 3 in my collection that were all over 33",but released them within a few weeks to make room for a gravid rat snake. It would be interesting to see a striped line of them.
