I finally got my turtle to eat fish for the first time in months. I moved him from a tank to a pond, and discovered he could no longer catch fish as well. Ive fed him mill worms (which are his favorite), but I became concerned about him not eating fish. Finally after a couple months i got him to eat fish for the frist time. I put him in a tiny 15 galon tank with about 30 rosi red feeders( just for feeding time) so he could catch them easier. And he ate about 18 for the first time in months. A couple days later I put him in the tank agian with the rest of the feeders i had left (about 12) and he was having a hard time catching them. Could he just be out of practice? Any suggestions? any slower moving feeders? Are guppies slower than rosi reds? Or should i just stock up the tank every time with lots of fish?
