Small Veileds eat mealworm beetles?

SalS Nov 16, 2004 04:06 PM

Can smaller veiled chameleons eat mealworm beetles? If they can, DO they eat them?

I did read that they really don't like the mealworms.

Just thinking of different food items besides crickets.

yes the can and will but i wouldn't feed it to them too often. the beetles are almost all shell once they turn black.
mealworms-they seem to like them but it is hard to find a place they you can put them without having the veiled freakout.

try silkworms, waxworms(in moderation),or cock roaches....silkies and roaches are better foods than crix.
