lethargic Pacman frog

jeannette Nov 16, 2004 05:03 PM

I have a lethargic pacman frog who is responsive when I mist him, however, he will not eat. He used to eat vegetables and crickets. For about six weeks he has not eaten on his own. I have force fed him crickets, when he started to spit them out, I tried meal worms. He doesn't seem to like meal worms however and I hate to leave them in his terrarium because they burrow. I have tried pinkies but he wont bite them. I have to put their heads in his mouth. I haven't force fed him now for about 1 1/2 weeks and he still won't eat on his own. Any ideas??? Help, I don't want to loose him.

First of all this should be posted in the "Frogs" forum.
Don't feed vegetables, Pacmans are carnivores.
What is the tank temperature?
What do you keep him on?
What is the humidity in the tank?
