Very beautiful animal. Tokays are one of the best lizards out there in my book!!! How long have you had him/her? Was it WC or CB?

Ah...thanks. ^^ Yeah, i love him to pieces...as for your question, I'm going to hazard a guess and say that he probably captive breed...but very bity...my brother got him for me as a gift cause he was only five bucks...(marked down from twenty because he had been returned to the pet store by prospective owners five...yep, five times cause they didn't know what a bitey animal he was. ^^ )

As it was, they are never selling them ever again at thepet store, and my brother says they needed a blanket to get him out of the cage becuase all the store personel were afraid of him. ^^ He lives in his own twenty gallon high tank now, and I'm hoping to eventually see another Tokay to buy him a mate. ^^;

I've had him a year and a half, and he seems to have tamed up nicely...for a Tokay...I can't pick him up of course, but he won't bite me when I clean his cage or pet him. He will sing at night too if I'm lucky. He is a beautiful animal, and his only fault is that he absolutly refuses to use a real hidey-hole like a hollow log and instead sleeps in an old cardboard box...weird...I tried to switch cage decor on him several times, but he would just stop eating...so I have a great naturalistic set up with a ugly ol' box in it. Hee...you keep Tokays? ^^
