How old are your babies--they all seem fairly young? Raising young ones up into adulthood is awesome. I added a group of young kunasir island ratsnakes ('03&'04) to my collection this year. I love to watch the littlest ones wrestling a f/t pink mouse into submission, while the yearlings calmly snarf down fuzzies and look for more.

Just a thought--you may want to take off your wrist watch while handling them. Even though it seems smooth, a scale can get caught and torn as they circle your wrist and hand. I learned the hard way--had it happen with a corn--and ended up treating an infection. Best of luck with your scaly ones!

althea

thanks...that thought never even occured to me. my licorice stick is about a year and a half, maybe just a little more, my black rat is just around a year right now. The blue beauty is ~5 months, and my bairdis are roughly the same age. I still have my male bairdi who wont eat except once a month or so! lol.
