i recently tried to feed my florida kingsnake, and struck at the rat pup as ususal.. its got a healthy appitite.
next thing i see its got something in its mouth and all i see is a smal lump and a foot.. when it stuck it apparently ripped the head and shoulder(and 1 leg) completely off the ratpup and swallowed it seperatly..
it then went and ate the rest ..my wife saw this and said my kingsnake eats its rat-pups head first..lol
just wish id had the camera handy 
Thanks for sharing! My 5.5 foot Florida King is pretty ruthless himself even more so than my 6'4" Blotched King "BIG JOHN"
