what are you doing with the eggs? substrate?

i just hatched out my first pair that were given to me from a friend. incubation was really simple. all i did was put them in a small plastic container with a few small holes punched on top. inside i placed about an inch and a half or so deep with vermiculite. i weighed the vermiculite, then put in twice as much water. for the next 75 days, until they hatched, all i did was monitor the weight of the eggs and spray them time to time when it seemed to dry off a bit. not every day though, because little evaporated, but each week i sprayed if the vermiculite started to feel drier when i touched it. also made sure not to have any sitting water, just enough for the vermiculite to hold. they hatched out sunday and have been great ever since. watching the weight gave me a good idea of thchange in weight over time, since looking at them day to day you dont notice much difference.
