WELL NOT ME!! lol i can only seem to think about our new chameleon! all day long, he like a new girlfriend or puppy love or something! lol

he just went over to his sleep spot about 40 minutes ago so i go out some snips to trim his plantback by the heat lamp and also towards the back where it started to come there the mesh. he was curled up to sleep and the top half of him turned a mauve color. so in addition to the baby blue he showed me a couple days ago i now know he has some red in him! man this is great, kind of like child birth(for me anyway, not my wife! lol)again. seems as much as i've read about chamelons nothing beats having one and realizing i don't know squat!lol

one question:
how soon can i take him outside. i ordered "cloth" cage to do so. i went with the "cloth" because he will only be staying in outside for very short periods. is this type of cage good for this temperary housing?

this might be hard but it would be best to move his cage outside instead of moveing him to a new cage.

he will have to do the whole acustoming thing inside his new cage and then be moved to his old cage in the middle of his scouting...

I belive that is what they are doing when chams are moved to new cages they roam all around make sure that they isn't a chameleon that already stake out this spot....

Dennis-

I don't like the reptariums, just my opinion. There was allot of talk about pro/cons with the reptariums a while back so I will not repeat. But one thing to add is if you have wild animals that cause problems in your area then do not leave him outside overnight in the cage because he will be a very easy meal.

Note: You can find the best price for the reptariums the last time I checked on eBay.

Hope this helps!
