I've had an adult cornsnake for about 3 weeks now, and i've been feeding him one small rat a week, but he acts like he needs more. He stalks out every furry critter in sight when i take him out, and gets the rat the MILLISECOND i drop it in. Should i feed him more, or are these guys just more aggressive in their hunting than the boas and pythons i'm used too?
I'm not sure how exactly big he is, but i was told he was an adult when i bought him, id estimate him to be around 4 ft long, and hes about an inch and a half in diameter at his thickest point.
and a side question, i was also told he was a ghost when i got him, but i've already had someone comment that she didnt think he was, his colours seemed too dark. Anyone able to tell me if he is/isnt/what he is? (other than simply lovely...)
Since the photos are low qual, his body is mostly a pale cream type colour, creamy pink for hte markings on top, and pale sunshine yellow for the markings on the side
