Could someone post a pic of what their feeding (record) cards look like. I'm just interested in what kind of info people keep and how they keep it.
Thanks.

I don't have a pic. I just have word processing document made up of tables. The headings for each row of the table are:
DATE: EVENT: NOTES: KEEPER:
The events that I regularly track are as follows:
a) Temps and humidity (I have a digi-therm. in each cage)
b) Poo and Urates
c) Handling (duration)
d) Feeding (what and when/how it went)
e) weight in grams (after each shed)
You can track whatever you want or nothing at all. It's a hobby for me so data collection is just part of the fun. It can also be handy for spotting trends.
That's interesting. I track weight (grams) after each stool. Why after sheds? Is the old skin really that heavy?

No particular reason really. The Ball Python Manual has a chart tracking growth statistic for several female Royals. According to the chart the snakes were weighed after each shed, so I figured what the hey and that's how I started doing it, but I doubt it really matters.
It's as good a time as any and many of them will take a dump while shedding so they'll be at their lightest. I only track feeding, shedding, weight and copulations with the male of female of record.
