this is trinity, she an 10 month old columbian boa. my friend got her, but then she just ran out of time, so now i have her. shes georgiouse, and sweet. her red is alot more pronounced then in the pics. she kept her in a 50 gal tank, but i dont have the room for that, so i put her in one my breeding rack tubs. do you think that tub is to small? if so, id like to see some pics of breeding racks that you all have.

Plenty big for now. General rule is length width of enclosure should be greater than or equal to length of snake. Sometimes too large of an enclosure can actually cause stress and make boas not want to eat.

Hope this helps,

That's supposed to be length plus width. I forgot KS doesn't allow plus symbols.

No, I don't think that tub is too small. It should be good for him/her until it gets a little bigger, then you will eventually have to switch him/her to a larger enclosure.
Best of luck!

yeah, shes only my second columbian, but i do kno they get big, and i kno it wont last long. but she is eating well, and she loved the 50gal tank, so i kinda feel bad downsizing her like that, but i kno its for the best. prob by feb shes ganna be a much bigger cage. im also not powerfeeding her, so i kno shes not ganna grow too fast.
again, thanx alot for the feed back. now that im back in the common boa family ill probably be here a lil more often is thats aright.
