King temperament???

vipergeck0 Nov 17, 2004 06:12 PM

I have a large collection of geckos and want to get a snake! I used to have a red tail boa but he was a bit pissy so i traded him for a nice crested. Kings interest me greatly but I had a few questions for ya guys. How do they handle? Ever bite, or try to get away quickly? Pretty calm or kinda irritable? I know it has a lot to do with how much time you put into handling them but in general... Thanks for your help,

Jack

Oh, can they be housed together?

kings are the best.they seldom bite unless hungry or smell food! they are cannibals though so housing together is not advised on most of the ssp. personally i prefer eastern kings they get good size they are beautiful easy to care for(but then all kings are)etc, etc, then again ya cant go wrong w/any king no matter the ssp. so just pick your flavor so to speak and dive right in (careful though they are ADDICTIVE!!!:O ) take care
