Milk temperament???

vipergeck0 Nov 17, 2004 06:14 PM

I have a large collection of geckos and want to get a snake! I used to have a red tail boa but he was a bit pissy so i traded him for a nice crested. Milks interest me greatly but I had a few questions for ya guys. How do they handle? Ever bite, or try to get away quickly? Pretty calm or kinda irritable? I know it has a lot to do with how much time you put into handling them but in general... Thanks for your help,

Jack

Oh, can they be housed together?

I have an 03 tangerine dream honduran. when i first got him he was very flighty and wanted to just get away. now that he is over a year old he is much better with handling. but it took OVER A YEAR. 'zorro' has never tried to bit me for anything but has musked me once when i first got him.
i don't think you can house milks together. you should not house any snakes together. it just creats problems.
also milks, at least mine does, hide 24/7. i really debated on finding him another home because i never see him out. he has come out on occasion but not very often.
on that note...you can't go wrong with corns as a first snake. important thing is do your research on what ever you decide to get and you will be happier in the long run.
