thinking about getting a BRB, have a few questions

first off, how big do these guys get? I'm looking for a snake around 5-7 ft.Is a 75 gallon aqaurium too big for a cage? and lastly are they docile enough for my teen daughter to handle? It will be at least three months before I get any snake and I want to do as much research as possible.Any links to good web sites for BRB would be great.Thanks
