OK! Well I made a background with that foam stuff that expands called like Great Stuff or something like that. I then put silicone and dried coconut shavings on top to make it a good background. If anyone has done this before plz help. I did wat blackjungle.com did and now I need to know how to clean the tank. The moss and Plants break up pretty much the poop and the walls I clean wit a washcloth. Shud I change the substrate? Take all the plants out? Meaning take all the moss off and the plants on the background. Do I need to do something about the wall also to keep clean. Any help will be appreciated. Thx in Advance guys!

hey, sorry it took me a few days to respond.

pretty much all you can do is spot clean the foam. dont tear it all out and redo it.
how do you have it? is just the background covered or did you do the floor too?. i would love to see a pic.

im working on a new technique with foam but its not in the can. its a two part resin( pretty much the ingredients of great stuff before they are added and put into the can.it is then painted and sealed hopefully this proves easier to clean than the coco walls i am having a hard time myself cleaning the foam and coconut walls (if you scrub too hard it rubs it all off) and am always looking for a better way.
