Thinking about getting a boa

ali-baba Nov 17, 2004 08:40 PM

I would like to get a boa that is relatively small (up to 8 feet or so), and is relatively inexpensive. What kind would you guys suggest?

Ahhh you are looking for a male columbian boa... should cost you under 100 bucks...males will grow to about 5-7 feet and can live in a 4x2 foot cage... Good temperment and easy upkeep.. i would make sure you do some internet/source research before purchasing and i would highly recommend that you purchase from a reptile breeder show or online from a reputable breeder, instead of a pet store.. you will most likely get a better quality animal for a lot less money....Just my .02 cents... good luck with your research

check out bakersboas.com great guy to deal with, even if your just asking a question about boas. got my little girl from him. shes a normal but a stunner. if you go to the site mine is the one that says sold to mike from minnesota. he also has some great looking males for great prices. i would have bought every pet from him if i could have.

Mike, looked at your new boa. She's a beauty. Post some pics when you can.
Good luck with her.
