Guyana rainbows

crzyflsrepdennis Nov 17, 2004 09:49 PM

Has anyone bred guyana rainbows? What do the babies go for?
Any info would be appreciated. I have an opportunity to get an adult pair and am looking at all possibilities.

Dennis,
....I bred Guyana Rainbows several years ago. At that time there were big numbers of them being imported and so the demand was not there and babies did not sell real well. I think I remember selling some of them for $45 each. Baby Guyana Rainbows are smaller than baby Colombian and Brazilian Rainbows and in my opinion they are not nearly as pretty as the other more commonly bred subspecies.
Good luck,
Jeff
