Hey everybody...I've made my mind up to purchase a baby CWD when I get my first paycheck...yay! ;D but i have a few questiosn regarding a terriarium/vivarium/tank whatever you wanna call it...

Now as a baby...i'd say the little guy is roughly 6-7 inches long (comparable to a full grown leo geck)...since he's so small at it's current state...would a 20 gal. tank like the one in the picture below suffice? (the picture is actually the tank where I house 2 leo gecks)

When he starts to mature...does anyone know a good website where I can get maybe a 55 gal tank (tall..not long) for his climbing/playing pleasure? or a good site where I could possibly have one custom built?

As far as the 20 gal. is concerned...i'll just get that from the petco up the street and it should be reletively inexpensive...as far as decorating the cage...how should i do this? anybody know any good sites where i can research propery cage design for a CWD?

I'll get to my questiosn pertaining to the future cage when the time arrises...;]

You will be surprised at how fast they grow. A 20 gallon tank is not big enough, even for a baby. I started my babies in a 55 gallon tank, and they outgrew that by about 8 months and I moved them to a 350 gallon terrarium. A basic setup shoud have a pond for swimming and soaking, branches to climb on and plenty of plants (real or fake) for hiding. Go to the page linked below and read everything.
