Feeding???

Covenant Jun 30, 2003 09:57 PM

Hello again. Also. The Columbian Boa's I got this past weekend were born a week and a half ago. They've already shed for the first time and I fed them both a small mouse. Now because their so young how often should I feed them? I never knew boa's were born so big. But my friends boa just had a ton of babies. Their probably as big around as my thumb and about a foot or a little more long. Thanks for any advice.

I would feed it once, maybe twice at most, a week. Twice would be if you are feeding pretty small meals. Make sure not to overfeed. A general rule is one prey item that is just a bit larger than the thickest part of the snake once a week. I wouldn't think this regiment would hurt it. Andy
