As others have mentioned, I beleive it to be a "mustard" colored Chondro. I have always been intersted in this color phase, which seems to be an intermediate coloration where HY genes are present. Lemon Trees (TT Line) and Houston Zoo stock (both have a high potential to be HY adults) which have produced what I beleive is this intermediate "mustard" coloration. Maybe someone else can provide more expereince, but I have not seen any mustards produced from bright green chondros...only ones with HY potential. Do you know what type/locality of the parents, any pictures? IMO, I do beleive your animal is nice, and it may have genetics for HY, ...its' posterior portion has some nice speckling too. See ya, Ken

He is of high yellow heritage. His parents are from OS (I have his genetic paperwork), I am the second owner of him. He looked unique, thats what attracted me to him.
Looks like I will be looking for a High yellow female compaion for him.
