Nicole, the short answer is take an old dresser and remove the draws and draw slides. Line the inside with bath board. Install a storm window unit sideways. Hook up your lights and your ready to go. EVERYTHING,exept the dresser(garbage),came from Home Depot for under $75. If you want more specific plans or pics. just let me know. This was very easy and took less than a day to build! Brian

Is that a storm door for the front? I have seen some very interesting ways to make cages. The most interesting was an old swamp cooler they left the screen on one side and screwed plexi to the other three sides the drain plug in the middle bottom made for easy cleaning and rinsing. they then put wheels on the bottom and were good to go. I am wanting to try that since I live in the pits of hell Texas we have swamp coolers all over the place a few places I called will give me the shell for free.

It's actualy a storm window turned side ways. The cage measures 60"long by 22"deep and 26"tall. My next project is 8'long by 2'deep by 4'tall. On this one I have a 12"tall bottom draw that will stay for storage. Brian

I picked up a desk top with 4 doors of storage space for free it is already wired for lighting. If I set it on the ground I have an 8' x 2' wide x 4' tall space all I have to do is enclose the bottom and front and I will have the perfect space to put the tegus under it with storage above.
