hornedman Nov 18, 2004 03:53 PM

My father recently game me his old fish tank. 30 gallon tall. I have some good filters from the old fish tank. I was thinking of creating a vivarium but not sure how to set it up. I want to creat a large water area obviously and was wondering how to creat a land area with out it being to high to the cage lid ( if you get what im saying)

Ive had a wtf, gtf. I was looking into mantellas and arrow frogs, does anyone have some advice for me and what frogs would be appropiate for me to raise. I also like red eye tree frogs, id appreciate any suggestions/comments. All welcome, thanks! Pictures help 2

I can help, it's really easy and i'd stay with Darts, tincs for sure as they're most often sold as Captive Breed (CB) and most mantella are wild caught, from what i've seen.

Tincs are stable, not shy, and fun.

the tank would be easier to build then you think.

do you want a water feature at all? what kind of budget?
most plants that can do well in a terrarium are selaginella, peperomia and the list goes on. there are also things like hardscape; wood, rock to concider, as well as the soil, lighting and maintenance.

i cold send photos and a simple how to sheet if you want.
