I never heated my water. Why are you trying to force it to go in? You can spray baby dragons with water if you are worried, but I would just leave them alone.

since you just got him yesterday, he may need a few days to get used to his enclosure before he goes in the water. Also, it shouldn't be too cold, not below 70 (i think, thats what I make sure for mine, someone else can probably give you more info. about that)

I agree with mixitup...he/she may just need a few days to get adjusted to it's new environment...if you force it to do things it neccisarily doesn't wanna do than you could put too much stress on your CWD...in which case (like other lizards) it could get sick and die due to the stress you put on it...

i'm new to CWD's...but have a few other lizards and i've found that leaving them alone the first couple weeks is best...and like the other person said...you can always get a reptile mister bottle from any petsmart/petco...they cost about $3.99...use distilled, purified water and just mist your CWD a few times a day...hope u get it figured out ;]
