Best Pastel line?

KenW Nov 18, 2004 10:20 PM

Which pastel line is considered the best at retaining bright colors into adulthood? Graziani? NERD lemon pastel? Are all pastels considered equal? Are they all compatible?

Thanks in advance.

I would have to say that the bell line pastels are some real screamers when they become adults. here is a picture of my 900gram male. I think all pastels are compatible which each other but it really wouldn't matter because pastels are co-dominate so you only need on parent pastel to produce pastels unless you want a super pastel then you need to go pastel to pastel. hope that helps

I see the Graziani and NERD pastel lines advertised but no mention of the Bells. Are they rare? Are they that valuable that most are holdbacks? Thanks.

I like the Graziani Line best then the NERD Line second, this picture is a NERD Line pastel....

I like all of the pastel lines, I have both the graziani and bell lines. I was just answering the responce of which on stays brighter through adult hood. In my opinion the Bell line stays the best but like someone said all lines have darker ones. thanks

The pastel at the top of the picture is a ASF reptile bought --- graziani line

I have seen nicer and worse looking across the board and have no idea which line as a whole takes the cake for the best. I happen to like this guy who I believe is a NERD line animal.

Keep in mind that NERD has the lemon line as well as their "normal" pastel line. The nerd lemons are some of the best pastels I've ever seen.

IMO there are good and average pastels in all the lines, but a couple lines are definitely more reasonbly priced! You have to go by personal preference. This is a 2000 gram Graziani female that still looks pretty good for her size and is better in person! I would like to see other pics of pastels over 2000 grams.

I suppose I get no credit for that beauty since I did not sell her to you. How is the Male's colors holding up for you? He should be in full breeding mode for you.

...last 02' female pastel the best, especially since she produced a super for you. Do you have any pics of the super she produced? I like to see big fat females over 2000-3000 grams, especially pastels!
