Ball Python or Boa C.

I have a question. Do you guys think breeding Ball Pythons or breeding Boa C.'s is easier for which ever reason you think? I was just wondering what your impressions were on this subject and why? Any and all responses would be great.

I have never bred either species, but I think it depends on what you want to accomplish as a breeder. From my observation on Kingsnake, it seems that Boas grow a bit slower than Balls, which might be taken into consideration if you want to breed offspring etc. If I were you, I'd look at the major differences between the two and kind of figure out what you want to get from breeding. Balls lay eggs vs. live birth in Boas. Balls tend to have smaller clutches also. In general, balls are less than or half the size of a Boa. Take into consideration how much room you have. Personally, I have chose to breed Balls, just because I want to breed visually magnificent specimens. Some people love Boas, I on the other hand am more visually attracted to Ball Pythons. Balls come in a wide variety or morphs, so the possibilities are endless. However they are harder to buy breeding stock, due to their higher price than Boas, but this again is due to the small clutches they have and demand being high. Figure out which species makes your eyes light up, heart pound, and makes you scream. LOL Well, maybe not scream, but you get the idea. I don't know much, as far as breeding goes, but these are my thoughts on choosing what to breed. I'm sure more can add to this. Hope this helped some.
