I might have some shell peices that I keep in a napkin next to the tank.. not sure why I keep it just guess it's cool because their so big. I don't have them shedding now as they are older and seem to have surpassed their growth spurt. Why do you want to see it anyways.. its not that cool until it falls off

I usually see the shell come off towards the side so its a V (or C) shape

Ive caught wild G. pseudogeographica that live in a pond near a coal fired powerplant that have been blackened by the nearby coal pile. After a couple days in captivity, the ugly black plates started to fall off showing a much prettier shell underneath. Sorry, no pictures, but it does look funny when the shell is alternating black and normal colored plates.
