My baby cwd sleeps alot!!

DO baby cwd sleep alot becuz mines does it doesnt move around much i take it out of the cage and put it in my arm or just put it in the wash room carpet so he can move around but he stays in the same place i leave him in and closes his eyes i dunno if hes sick or hes just stressed or afraid but can some1 help me!!!!!!Please

They do that when they are terrified, if you just got him, leave him alone for at least a week and let him settle in.
