...a little dark, but you get the idea.
That is incredible! I thought they all turn brown to yellow as adults. That on looks silver. Do you have any others that are silver? I still cannot believe it! Thanks Andy
They come in all kinds of colors silver, red, purple, etc. Many times the silver adults are called "silverbacks." Check out millerreptiles.com and look under "available" for yearling pics or "Bolivians" for adult pics. There are others who have nice ones as well, but many "silverbacks" merely end up nearly black as adults.
....
I got this female amarali from Philip Niforatos just a couple of months ago. If she turns out as nice as I hope (and believe) she will, it will be alot like that one you show. When I first glanced at your pic I thought it was a b&w photo -- or retouched (even worse -- I hate "photoshop" pics)! I should be getting a pair of amarali soon, I'll definitely post pics of them.
You really put up a nice one -- thank you for posting the pic!
...I'll bet it turns out to be a nice adult, but sometimes you just never know. Some really nice babies do darken up quite a bit while others don't. I never use photoshop by the way.
You said it is a Bolivian Boa? - Forgive me, cuz I am still new to boas . . . I still get confused by the different types. So he is a Bell line Bolivian? How big do they get?
He truly is a beautiful animal!
