From what I understand Flagyl comes in a pill form and the proper dosage is 50mg per kilo. So do I need a digital scale capable of weighing in the mg range? If so where can I get one? Is it them mixed with water and administered with a ball tip syringe down the throat?

I will be getting Klingenberg's book soon but till then any help would be appreciated.

I searched the forums but came up with the same lame info every time.

*I posted this in the health/ breeder forum but its pretty sleepy over there.

If it's a 250 mg pill:

1) Crush the whole pill up very fine.

2) Mix it well with 10 CC of water.

3) Draw up in a syringe, the amount you need for the animal.

*Note* Do not let the mixture sit too long before sucking it up in the syringe, or it will not be the correct dosage (it will be weaker).

Liquid is much better, but unless you plan to make a trip to Mexico, or know somebody who is/has, you can't get it in the US.
