hi i just wanted to get everyones opinion of this topic since there are a lot of exp keepers on this forum i have my fair share of all types of snakes and am now focusing on blood and cali kings .but i have never had a wild caught snake im thinking of purchasing an adult male blood whos color is beatiful i was just wondering what was everyones exp with wc like ? are they far more aggresive? are they problem feeders will i be able to at least calm him to the point of be able to do necessary handling any advice would be greatly app thank you shaun

Many WC bloods do not breed readily and, contrary to CB bloods, are likely to have very horribly irascible tempers. Captive bred bloods are so reasonable there's really no point in buying wild caught.
If you've ever had a cranky WC spray feces all over you you'll wish you'd bought from one of the many good breeders that can help you.

if ur gonna get it wild caught and it looks nice, just get it de wormed, and get rid of alllllllllll parasites first, then just get it settled in, and after it settles then start handling it, wild caught bloods are usually more aggressive then captive bred bloods, (but any animal that has teeth can and will bite) so it doesnt matter, if its pretty, u can get it to eat, and get it to breed then it was all worth it. but the snake if u like it!!!!
